Three Ways to Attach Your Patch
The right attachment method depends on material, purpose and your personal preference. We produce all types in our Vienna embroidery workshop.
Sew-On Patches
The classic and most stable attachment method. The patch is sewn directly onto the textile – by hand or sewing machine.
Typical applications: Workwear, uniforms, club textiles, motorcycle vests, premium clothing
Iron-On Patches
Iron-on patches have a thermal adhesive layer on the back. Through heat and pressure, they bond permanently with the fabric.
Typical applications: T-shirts, shirts, jackets, children's clothing, DIY projects, casual wear
Velcro Patches
Velcro patches consist of two parts: the patch with hook side and the counterpart with loop side sewn onto the textile.
Typical applications: Military, emergency services, outdoor & tactical, sports teams with changing logos
