How to Care for Your Patches
With proper care, your patches will last for many years. Here are our top tips.
Washing
- Wash inside out (30–40 °C recommended)
- Gentle cycle or hand wash preferred
- Do not use bleach
- A laundry bag protects against friction
Drying & Ironing
- Air dry – no tumble dryer
- Do not iron directly on the patch
- Iron from the back or use a cloth
- For iron-on patches: heat can reactivate the adhesive
Durability
- Sewn-on patches last practically forever
- Iron-on patches hold for 30+ washes when applied correctly
- For high wear: combine ironing + sewing
- Velcro patches can be swapped indefinitely
